Hi! I’m Sylvie.

I’m a freelance journalist and writer. I often write about food, culture, travel, and individuals doing things I find particularly interesting.

In a past life, I helped launch restaurants and pop-up shops (and ate a lot) at the food culture agency, Care of Chan. I also worked alongside journalists, game designers, and chefs at The New York Times

I hold an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing.

My writing has appeared in the New York Times, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, T Magazine, Architectural Digest, Domino, Hotels Above Par and more.
